Please discontinue any active ingredient skin care 24 hours prior to treatment (retinols, salicylic acid, tretinoin, etc). If you have a history of cold sores, pre-treat with your antiviral medication 3 days prior to injection. If you do not have a prescription, please contact Infinity. You are not a candidate for treatment if you are pregnant or nursing.

No heavy sweating for at least 24 hours- avoid saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs. No makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment. Avoid products with acids, retinols, vitamin c, etc while skin is healing. No sun exposure for at least 24 hours.

Day of treatment: Leave serums on for the remainder of the day. Continue to apply serums given to you as needed for dryness and redness. In the evening, if you are feeling “sticky,” you may rinse your face with water to remove the serums, then apply a fresh layer. Days 2-6 post treatment: AM- Cleanse skin with gentle cleanser, apply a hydrating serum and finish with Intellishade TryPhysical or other SPF. Reapply hydrating serum and SPF as needed throughout the day. PM- Cleanse skin with gentle cleanser, apply hydrating serum and night cream. Day 3: add vitamin C back into routine. Day 7: add retinol back into routine and continue with normal skin care routine.

Your skin will be red post-treatment, like you have a sunburn. Some patients will experience mild flaking. Two to four days post-treatment, the redness will subside.
