  • Botox and Dysport require minimal downtime. Some redness and swelling at the injection site are normal and typically subside within an hour. Avoid high-impact exercise, lying down, or massaging the treated area for four hours post-treatment.

  • Botox is created by Allergan and Dysport is created by Galderma. Both of these are neurotoxins, just different brands!

  • Consistency is key! If you stop treatments or skip appointments, the effects will wear off over time, and your muscles will return to their natural movements. Staying on schedule every three to four months helps maintain smooth skin and prevent new lines from forming.

  • Results vary by patient and product. Botox typically begins working within 5–7 days, with full results appearing at two weeks. Dysport tends to take effect faster, within 2–3 days, with full results also at two weeks.

  • Results depend on individual factors, but Botox typically lasts up to four months, with effects fading around the three-month mark. Dysport can last up to five months, with results fading between three and four months.
