Nurse (RN or BSN)

Initial responsibilities will be performing Coolsculpting treatments, Medical Weight Loss, Sylfirm Microneedling, skin analysis appointments, and assisting experienced injectors.   As you progress you will be trained to perform other aesthetic treatments.    

Duties and Responsibilities

As a provider at Infinity, you will work closely and under the supervision of our medical director and a team of highly trained aesthetic professionals. You will be responsible for accurate assessment of each patient, developing a treatment plan and performing aesthetic treatments to enhance our patients' appearance. This role requires a passion for aesthetics and a commitment to delivering safe and outstanding patient care.

  • Assessment: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their aesthetic goals, evaluate their medical history, and determine the most suitable treatment plan.

  • Patient Education: Educate clients about the procedures, expected outcomes, potential risks, and post-treatment care to ensure informed decisions.

  • Safety and Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean working environment, reducing the risk of infection or complications.

  • Client Comfort: Ensure clients are comfortable and relaxed during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including treatment details, consent forms, and progress notes and photos through our EMR.

  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest developments in neurotoxin, dermal filler, product rheology, injection techniques, and industry trends.

  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond calmly and efficiently to any adverse reactions or emergencies during treatments.

  • Client Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up phone calls and appointments to assess treatment outcomes, make any necessary adjustments, and build long-term relationships with patients.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to aesthetics and nursing practice.

  • Preparing treatment rooms and examination rooms for procedures

  • Preparing patients for procedures: cosmetic removal, topical anesthetic application and removal, medication administration, reapplication of post procedure products and sunscreen

  • Performing other minimally invasive cosmetic procedures independently (training provided)

  • During downtime assisting other providers with more invasive procedures including: chemical peels, neurotoxin injections, dermal filler injections, laser procedures and other minor skin procedures

  • Understanding prescription skin care carried by the clinic, exercising professional and clinical judgement when making recommendations to patients

  • Remaining up-to-date on all procedures the clinic offers and knowledge of the latest innovations in medical aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology 

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and all team members to achieve clinic goals 

  • Practice in a professional manor meeting the standards of the clinic

Skills and Qualifications

Infinity Aesthetic Nurse/NP injector candidates must possess the following key skills and qualifications:

  • Valid Nursing License

  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience

  • Strong understanding skin anatomy and aesthetics in general

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times 

  • Verbal communication skills to interact with other health care professionals and patients

  • Continuous learning and willingness to stay up to date on industry advancements 

  • Ability to provide clear and concise instructions to patients

  • Observation skills to monitor patient status during procedures and identify possible complications

  • Interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease

  • Attentiveness to detail to perform procedures correctly and update records accurately

  • In-depth knowledge of common aesthetic and dermatological terminology and procedures 

  • Ability to use the tools and equipment necessary to perform procedures

  • Familiarity with patient records management software

  • Ability to remain upright for long periods during procedures

Advanced Training Opportunity: Advanced education, training, and in-office residency opportunity will be offered to qualified candidates who excel. This opportunity includes: On-going/advanced training offered in the following areas: 

  • Neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport)

  • Dermal Filler Injections (Juvederm, Restylane) 

  • Training in Laser and Light-based treatments

  • Microneedling and Microneedling RF

  • Collagen Induction Injections 

  • Body Sculpting

  • Machine based facials/Chemical Peels 

Value: on-going training on Neurotoxin and Dermal filler injections ranges from $500 per hour plus travel and hotel expenses (Allergan or Galderma) to $8,500 per day (American Academy of Facial Aesthetics). Laser devices cost range from $130,000 to $500,000 or more. Laser training for these devices is $3,500 per day or $5,500 for 2 days. Laser training per hour is $350-$500 (Sciton laser company). In office shadow days, observation only (no-hands on training) average from $1,000- $1,500 per day.

  • Selected candidate will have the opportunity to continue their training privately under the only Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) adjunct faculty and Sciton Laser Luminary in South Dakota, Dr. Brittany C. Wangsness, DNP, FNP-BC. Training with daily observation, one on one hands-on training, routine feedback, practice guidance and mentorship. Exclusive access to AMI Curriculum and outside training opportunities through Allergan.  Opportunity to become CANS certified (Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist) 

  • The in-office residency education Value: Minimum of $65,000 

Pay & Benefits:
